My Story

I am so excited to have the opportunity to travel to Sierra Leone to support and see firsthand the amazing work of Street Child! The challenge I have chosen to undertake whilst in Sierra Leone is to run either 10K or a Half Marathon depending on how my training goes on 28th May, with our team from St Thomas, Norwich. My personal aim is to raise £1000+ for Street Child. I would be really grateful of any encouragement and sponsorship you can give to help me complete this challenge and meet my target!

EVERY PENNY YOU GIVE WILL GO DIRECTLY TO STREET CHILD!

Street Child creates opportunities for some of the world's poorest children in West Africa and Nepal through support and access to education.

At St. Thomas we have worked in partnership with Street Child for a number of years. We supported Street Child's work throughout the ebola crisis which provided educational opportunities to orphans all over Sierra Leone. St Thomas has funded two schools in Sierra Leone, with a third one on its way. Our very own Revd. David Lloyd is a Trustee for Street Child. In 2017 we will continue to partner with Street Child by raising funds, raising the profile of Street Child and using our personal experience of working with Street Child to help grow their church partnerships further.
